Painted Cave is one of the deepest sea caves in the world located at Santa Cruz Island, California in Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary and Channel Islands National Park. The cave is 1227 feet (374 meters) long. If you were to kayak through the smaller passage, it opens to a large cavern normally occupied by sea lions.
