Exploring Eyam in the Peak District | England’s Famous Plague Village

We spent the day exploring Eyam, one of the most fascinating villages in the Peak District and best known for its plague history. In this video, we wander around the village, stop for a pub lunch at The Miners Arms, visit Riley Graves, head to Mompesson’s Well, and see the Boundary Stone, where goods were exchanged during Eyam’s self-isolation. It’s such an interesting place to walk around because it’s not just a pretty Derbyshire village, there’s history everywhere you look.
