This footage is from November 8th 2025, 3 days before we left for Grand nationals. We Are Such Stuff was easily my favorite show of the four years I marched with Wando. It tied everything up like a bow and it really did mean so much to all of us. I’m so incredibly grateful for not only my senior year, but all four years I got to spend with Wando. And I’m so grateful to all my friends and family who I spent those years with as well. The journey would have meant nothing without all of y’all. Love y’all. As for the community Performance, it was one of my favorite runs we had. Obviously not topping the Nats runs but it still has a special place in my heart. This is where the end begun. It certainly has its flaws. For one, we had been rehearsing all day and my chops were COOKED. (Apologies for the horse lips every 10 seconds) On top of that, obviously I’m not perfect and I make plenty of small mistakes in this video. On my end there’s many tunning, stagger breathing, overall performance, and many other issues, but that’s ok. Nobody’s perfect, and thanks to this footage I was able to fix many of those mistakes going into Nats. Unfortunately, the Go-Pro doesn’t capture audio very well meaning the quality is pretty bad. The placement of the camera on my head also meant that whenever someone behind me was playing you can hear them over me. This happens with the Mello 2 part in the ballad and the baritone part in the closer. It’s unfortunate but I don’t really know a way around it. Basically the Go-Pro amplifies everything wrong with the performance, which was helpful in finding and fixing errors, but kinda sucks when you’re just trying to enjoy watching the performance. It’s also interesting because HeadCam videos don’t capture every aspect of a show run. It’s an isolated piece of a whole. So really, head cams in general are not how marching shows are “meant to be viewed.” You’re not getting the full show experience. But I think that’s also what makes them so fun to do! I definitely encourage anyone in a marching band to do a HeadCam if you’re able. This whole project was really fun to tackle!!! Thanks for watching!!!
