Hyundai i10 1L - Engine swap - Timelapse

This is my first engine swap so, it was a bit of a learning curve for me. In total, it took about a week to complete. As you can hear at the beginning of the video the engine was making a loud rattling noise. I could not diagnose the problem. I called up a professional mechanic to come and take a look he was adamant it was a big end bearing. However, there is no way to be certain without taking the engine apart. It sounded quite serious so I just decided to replace the engine instead of running it into the ground to the point where it was unrepairable. I am currently rebuilding the engine that I took out.
