Is The Rapture Biblical? @C3ChurchNaples

Last week, we looked at one of Jesus’ sayings that is commonly misused to call Christians to acts of violence. This week, we examine the passages of Scripture used to develop a theology called the “rapture” which teaches we will be “taken up” before the tribulation which will occur during the end times. Pastor Gene discusses the end times and the rapture, and uncovers the biblical problems with the pre-tribulation rapture. John emphasizes the multicultural "army" described in Revelation 7:1-17, representing God's salvation for everyone. Pastor Gene stresses the importance of learning Greek to gain a deeper understanding of the Bible and critiques the Prosperity Gospel. He also discusses popular culture's misinterpretation of Bible prophecy and the significance of self-reflection in evangelism. Finally, Pastor Gene highlights the importance of endurance in the Christian life and cultivating Christian character through moral excellence, knowledge, self-control, patient endurance, and brotherly affection.
