Would you and your spouse answer these the same way? This week on Life with the Foxes, Cornell is in the hot seat. I ask him eight rapid-fire money questions every married couple should be able to answer together, from the number we agreed on before either of us spends, to the money conversation we put off the longest. We talk about why we don't save every penny for retirement (nobody's promised tomorrow), the money habit Cornell kept from his parents and the one we threw out, how we decide on big purchases like a house or a car, the little leaks that drain a budget, how to use a credit card wisely, and the one money lesson we want our girls to learn. Pick three of these questions and talk them through with your spouse this week. Then tell us in the comments which one started the best conversation. We're Shaunté and Cornell, a Christian married couple raising two little girls in Bermuda. I'm a lawyer with a loud hallelujah and a love for lists. Cornell is our resident money guy, the big-picture planner who keeps the whole budget in his head (and cooks most of our meals). We came into marriage from two very different money backgrounds, and Life with the Foxes is the couch where we talk honestly about faith, marriage and finances, the conversations most couples never have at the dinner table.
