Thank God First This Morning 🙏 | Powerful Morning Prayer for Life & Protection

Before you do anything else this morning, take a moment to thank God for another day. 🙏 You opened your eyes this morning. You are breathing. Your heart is beating. You have been given another opportunity to live, to pray, to grow, to love, to work, to hope, and to walk in God’s purpose. This powerful morning prayer is a special time of thanksgiving and surrender as we begin the day with God. Before we ask Him for blessings, we thank Him for the blessing of life. Before we ask for protection, we thank Him for the protection He has already given us. Before we ask for direction, we acknowledge that He is the One who knows the way. In this morning prayer, we will thank God for another day, the gift of life, His mercy, His grace, His protection, His guidance, our families, our work, our future, and the countless things He has done for us—both the things we see and the things we never knew He protected us from. We will also surrender this entire day to God and ask Him to go before us, guide our decisions, guard our hearts and minds, protect our homes and loved ones, give us wisdom, strengthen us when we are weak, give us peace when we are anxious, and help us walk through this day with faith instead of fear. 📖 SCRIPTURES IN THIS PRAYER: Psalm 118:24 — “This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” Psalm 121 — A prayer of God’s protection over our going out and coming in. Proverbs 3:5–6 — Trusting God and allowing Him to direct our paths. Isaiah 40:31 — Renewed strength for those who wait upon the Lord. Philippians 4:6–7 — Bringing our worries to God and receiving His peace. Matthew 6:34 — Trusting God with tomorrow and receiving the grace for today. James 1:5 — Asking God for wisdom. Philippians 4:19 — Trusting God for provision according to His will. 🙏 TODAY’S PRAYER: Father, thank You for another day. Thank You for the gift of life. Thank You for waking me up this morning. Thank You for protecting me through the night. Thank You for the dangers I saw and the dangers I never knew existed. Thank You for Your mercy. Thank You for Your grace. Thank You for my family. Thank You for another opportunity. Lord, I give You this day. Go before me. Guide my steps. Protect my life. Protect my family. Protect my home. Protect my mind. Give me wisdom. Give me strength. Give me peace. Give me discernment. Help me make the right decisions. Help me recognize the doors You want me to walk through and give me the wisdom to walk away from what is not for me. I don’t know everything this day will bring, but I know that You are with me. And because You are with me, I will not walk in fear. I will walk in faith. I will trust You.
