Rare MBTA & Amtrak Trains: Heritage Units, Equipment Moves & More!

In this video, I made several trips around the Boston area to catch the "new" MBTA Heritage Units, including the freshly released F40PH-3C 1036 in New York Central paint. Some of the other highlights include the New Haven, Boston & Maine, and Yellow Nose MBTA Heritage Units, an ALC-42 and Phase II P42 130 on the Lake Shore Limited, MBTA F40PH-3C 1072 in black primer, and a MBTA Pawtucket Extra with Genset 3249. Thank you all for watching and enjoy the video! Filmed March 2026
