Dark Souls DLC Begins! Before diving in, I grabbed the Broken Pendant from the Duke’s Archives Crystal Golem to unlock the portal. Skipped the Undead Parish Drake after a failed attempt and went straight into the DLC. First up is facing the Sanctuary Guardian. Boss Fight: Sanctuary Guardian Quick and aggressive, but its telegraphed moves make dodging manageable. Cutting the tail for the weapon is tough, but I finally landed it after it missed a dash attack and living its tail open. In Oolacile Sanctuary, kindle the bonfire for convenience (or warp to Firelink for your 20 Estus). Progress through the Dark Wood carefully. Scarecrows and Guardians can swarm you. Collect the full Guardian armor set along the way. Then comes the iconic Knight Artorias fight. Boss Fight: Knight Artorias Fast, relentless, and punishing if you mistime heals. After learning his patterns, getting the timing down on most of my rolls, I defeated him and freed him from his torment, Now, he's reunited with Sif. #copium Reloading the area reveals Ciaran, who appears at Artorias’ grave.
