The Grocery Store Manager Hid Something in the Freezer—Then Zombies Broke Through the Back Door

DESCRIPTION: Nate discovers that Hargrove’s Family Grocery has a fortified freezer Dale Hargrove prepared long before the outbreak. Dale reveals a safe filled with weapons, emergency supplies, a radio, maps, and instructions left by his brother Arthur directing them toward Bell Ridge. Nate, Dale, and Lena reach the water tower, learn the military response is containment rather than rescue, and later return to turn the grocery store into a shelter. When a military broadcast orders survivors to rally point Charlie, Nate scouts the site and sees civilians being separated after processing. The group stays inside Hargrove’s, and Dale eventually returns with Margaret as the store becomes a shelter for eight people. In this episode: Nate takes responsibility for the shelter after Dale leaves to find Margaret. Hargrove’s Family Grocery becomes a fortified place with the freezer as its fallback. Twelve hours is the evacuation window given for rally point Charlie. They decide to stay at Hargrove’s Family Grocery instead of going to rally point Charlie.
