Ramayana Explained for Americans in 14 Minutes

Ramayana: Rise of a Legend opens November 5. If you didn't grow up with this story, the movie will throw dozens of names at you without stopping to explain. Here's who's who before the lights go down: Ravana and his boon, Ram and his brothers, Shiva's bow, the promise, the golden deer, and where Part One stops. And if you grew up with it, stay: the most famous line in it isn't in the oldest version. The Ramayana is sacred to millions. This is a short, simplified version for people outside India, so the movie is easier to follow. If I got anything wrong, sorry in advance.
