Chocolate Flapjacks | bake with me

These small batch chocolate flapjacks are chewy, buttery, and topped with a smooth layer of Galaxy milk chocolate. They’re baked in a 2lb (9x5 inch) loaf tin and make 6-8 bars. Ingredients (in grams): 125 grams unsalted butter 65 grams light brown soft sugar 70 grams golden syrup 180 grams porridge oats (rolled oats) Pinch of salt 120 grams milk or dark chocolate 1 teaspoon vegetable oil Ingredients (in cups): For best results, I recommend using gram measurements ✨ I haven’t tested this recipe in cups, so these measurements are just an estimate. ½ cup + 1 tablespoon unsalted butter ⅓ cup light brown sugar, packed 3 tablespoons + 1 teaspoon golden syrup 2 cups porridge oats (rolled oats) Pinch of salt ¾ cup milk or dark chocolate, chopped 1 teaspoon vegetable oil ✨ Bake at 180°C (350°F) / 160°C fan for 18-22 minutes.
