A Deep Depression over the Bay of Bengal is moving slowly at around 5 kmph and is expected to cross the coast near Kalingapatnam, between Visakhapatnam and Gopalpur. Winds may reach 60 kmph along the coast. Heavy to very heavy rainfall is expected across southern Odisha. Red alert has been issued for Malkangiri, Koraput, Kalahandi and Nabarangpur, while several districts remain under orange and yellow alerts.
