CEER-DSO Entity Webinar: Smart Grid Indicators for Distribution System Operators

The "Smart Grid Indicators for Distribution System Operators" webinar, hosted by DSO Entity and CEER, took place online on 10 September 2026. Europe's distribution grids are evolving rapidly, with smart technologies supporting the efficient operation of system-operated networks. Significant diversity exists among Distribution System Operators (DSOs) across national regulatory frameworks and geographies, meaning a one-size-fits-all approach cannot be applied. The webinar brought together Distribution System Operators, regulators, policymakers and energy sector organisations for a focused dialogue on the development and implementation of smart grid performance indicators, exploring how national characteristics shape the way DSOs operate their grids and how a pan-European approach can be tailored to specific national contexts.
