As the general debate of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA) concluded this week, a key highlight was the launch of the Partners for Multilateralism (P4M) initiative - by and for middle powers - on 21 September. But India isn't a middle power, yet it behaves like one. Nor is it a great power, and it won't become one anytime soon. Bantirani Patro explains why India is capitalising on the middle power moment and why India may forever be looked upon as a potential great power.
