Aphrodite's Rock, also known as Petra tou Romiou, is steeped in myth and legend as the birthplace of Aphrodite, the goddess of love and beauty. According to local folklore, if you swim around the rock three times, you'll be blessed with eternal beauty and love. The dramatic rock formations, combined with the turquoise waters of the Mediterranean, create a breathtaking backdrop, especially as the sun dips below the horizon.
