Description Larry Coburn, Director of Radiology at Lutheran Downtown Hospital, opens the 2026 to 2027 Indiana Tech Science Seminar Series with "My Road to Not Becoming a Physician!" He traces the winding path that began with a high school passion for science and watching family medical situations unfold, then continued through the college courses and opportunities that led him toward radiology. Recorded Wednesday, September 16, 2026, in the Magee-O'Connor Theater at Indiana Tech. ABOUT THE SERIES The Science Seminar Series is a monthly, interdisciplinary series that brings together students and faculty from across Indiana Tech's science and health programs. Each session highlights the connections between fields, introduces career paths and networking opportunities, and encourages new ways of thinking. Sessions are free and open to the public, and a light lunch is provided.
