East Lancashire Railway Summer Diesel Gala 2026 – Day 2 – On Board Action

Day 2 of the East Lancashire Railway Summer Diesel Gala 2026, filmed on Friday 3rd July 2026, featuring a full day travelling aboard the gala services and making the most of the busy timetable across the railway. The event brought together the ELR home fleet locos with three visiting locomotives making special appearances: 20303 – Class 20 (Courtesy of Swietelsky UK) 37610 – Class 37 (Courtesy of Swietelsky UK) 58023 – Class 58 (Courtesy of Edward Stevenson) This video follows the day from the passenger's point of view, with plenty of departures and arrivals, run-rounds, locomotive movements, and on-board footage from a variety of services.
