Nydelig Norge 2023 - Old road to Borgund

After 2 very successful roadtrips to the Alpes i was looking for new landscapes. If you are planning a road trip to Norway i have 2 tips: 1. dont use a camper. 2. check out: https://www.nasjonaleturistveger.no/en/. 3. check my personal route on https://wvdburgt.nl Old road to Borgund ( Historisk rute) The modern route to Borgund Stave church is tunnelled trough mountains. If you want to see a nice pittoresk route follow the signs for historisk rute. This road will follow the river closely and is hardly used making it a unique experience. At the end you will find the stunning old Norwegian style Stave church. Borgund is considered the best preserved stave church so well worth a visit!
