New Comic Book Day Deep Dive | Absolute Superman, Batman Bad Seeds & Triumph and Torment!

This week’s New Comic Book Day stack isn’t huge, but there’s a lot here I’m interested in reading. Absolute Superman #23 continues the Brainiac story, while Batman #13 drops into the middle of Batman: Bad Seeds with Vandal Savage targeting Poison Ivy. Marvel gives me Captain America #15 as Armageddon continues, along with Fantastic Four #16. I’m also picking up Doctor Strange and Doctor Doom: Triumph and Torment #1, bringing the classic Roger Stern and Mike Mignola graphic novel back in single-issue format. Rook: Exodus #11 rounds out the week as the second arc approaches its conclusion. Six books, but a pretty strong mix of current stories and a Marvel classic I’m glad to see back in print.
