Bali beach horse riding- Seminyak

Leaving from the Mesari stables, Seminyak Bali, it's a short wwi beach where you ride to.  Each horse has a handler that walks with you,  leading as necessary,  or if you're more confident, they will release the lead & walk beside you.  They use your phone to take photos & videos of you as you ride.  If you are confident to trot or canter,  they will encourage that so you can get some great shots & experience.  If you're not confident,  then just tell your handler to not release the lead & that you only want to walk.  The horses are very well cared for & loved & you can see the love they have for their handlers.  They do 1 hour rides (I think you can do shorter rides too) from 7am to 10am (last ride at 9am), REST,  then 3pm to 6pm (last ride at 5pm) daily.  Hot tip 1 The best time to ride is first thing at 7am..There is no one on the beach,  the Horses are less likely to spook & more responsive. While the sunset ride makes lovely pictures of the sun going down,  the beach is loaded with people, kites & all manner of distractions that can spook the horses.  They're also getting tired & can be less co operative Hot tip 2 Tell them you only have a little experience (even if very experienced), this way, they're less likely to give you a firey horse & will stay closer to ensure a smooth experience Hot Tip 3 Book direct,  1 hour rides are 700rp ($70AUD) as at July 25. By booking through a third party,  I paid $36 (AUD) more than this after conversion! A truly memorable experience that I will treasure forever!
