Eyewitness Overloon - Vehicles

During this weekend, various participating reenactment groups will present themselves to visitors against the historical backdrop of the Second World War. For this edition, more than 500 reenactors will take part in the event. They portray, among others, American, British, Canadian, German and Dutch units. In a professional setting with uniforms and camps, they bring history to life. Visitors can take a look inside and around American, British, Canadian, German and Dutch trenches, fortifications and tents, and talk to the participants. All participating groups are specially invited for this event and take their role very seriously. Several times a day they even engage in so-called ''Mock Battles'' - complete with blank ammunition, pyrothecnics and vehicles. A grandstand seat is included with the admission ticket; you only need to select your preferred time slot.
