Silver Run Falls in the Nantahala National Forest is located near Cashiers, NC. This North Carolina Waterfall is located near the parking lot so this is an easy waterfall hike perfect for families. It is only about 200 yards from the parking lot to the waterfall. Silver Run Falls is a 25-ft. waterfall. This is a popular swimming area because Silver Run Falls cascades into a pool with a small beach area. This is a great place to bring the family to cool off but beware that it gets crowded in the summer. We were there at 7:30am and had it to ourself but we did not get in and swim.
