A NEW PAUPER ARCHETYPE! Dimir Value Control feat. Troll of Khazad-dum! MTG League

I'm a legacy player, and this is my first-ever Pauper league video. I've only played 4 leagues with Pauper, but so far I've had a positive win rate. 4-1 with mono blue terrors, 1-4 with faeries, then a 3-2 and a 4-1 with this brew. I found terrors to be a bit boring. I like the faeries gameplay but found it underpowered, so I decided to mash the two decks together to create what I'm calling Dimir Value Control. My theory is that land drops are very important in Pauper control. Both Lorien Revealed and Troll of Khazad-dûm help you ensure you hit your land drops, then serve as your payoff for hitting those land drops. You get 2-for-1's off your Baleful Strix and Augur of Bolas, then inexpensively 1-for-1 your opponent with removal and counters. This helps you survive until your end game, where you jam massive trolls and windmill slam draw-3's. With 10 removal spells and 4 Baleful Strix this deck is very good at staying alive. The 8x blasts in the board are crucial for surviving burn decks. And the Arms are great at crawling back into the game vs white weenie. This is a full pauper MTGO league with live commentary. Note that this channel is fine to watch with your kids. I make a point to not say anything I wouldn't want my kids to hear.
