Bikepacking Montañas Vacias July 2022 - Day 1 Zaorejas to Uña

The first day of our 6 day adventure riding the Montañas Vacias route based around Teruel in Spain. We rode the route over 6 days starting 16 July 2022. It happened to be probably the hottest week of a multiple-week heatwave that was extreme even by local standards. We started the route in the village of Zaorejas as it is the closest part of the circular route to my hometown in Spain. Most people start and finish in Teruel but as the route is circular it doesn't matter that much where you pick it up.
