Locomotive Services 87002 ''Royal Sovereign'' 1Z90 London Euston to Holyhead ''Emerald Isle Express''. 87002 was taken off at Crewe and 47712 took over the train. the train returned to Crewe ECS Avanti West Coast 805001 & 805003 worked 5Q30 Oxley Depot to Glasgow Central but failed at Crewe and returned to Oxley Depot West Midlands Railway 730025 was on test between Crewe and Nuneaton London Northwestern Railway 730103 worked 5Q72 Crewe to Kilburn then 5Q42 back to Crewe A Freight train broke down somewhere and buggered up the West Coast Mainline via Birmingham New Street so any Avanti West Coast services via the Black Country were held at Stafford so any passengers for their services had to get other services to get the Avanti West Coast services off Stafford so this held freight trains in the area for a bit.
