Galarian Obstagoon - when it works, it really works. This was a super fun deck to try out. It takes a little time to warm up, but once it gets going it can surprise opponents with big early damage and completely disrupt their game by deleting their Energy. Galarian Obstagoon can hit for 120 damage with just 2 Energy, as long as the opponent’s Pokémon already has damage on it - otherwise you’re stuck at 70. So this deck is built around guaranteeing chip damage before Obstagoon starts swinging. That setup comes mainly from: Darkrai EX, dealing damage to the opponent’s Active whenever Energy is attached Spiritomb, spreading 10 damage to ALL opposing Pokémon, which also helps enable clutch Cyrus plays The real star, though, is Piers. If you have a Galarian Obstagoon in play — even just on the bench — Piers lets you discard TWO Energy from your opponent’s Active Pokémon. In many games, that single play completely swings the match. Sneaky, disruptive, and way more effective than it looks on paper. Enjoy the gameplay! 🖤
