ફોસિલ પાર્ક જ્યા ૧૬.૫ કરોડ વર્ષ જુના વૃક્ષ ના અવશેસો આવેલા છે Fossil Park where the remains of 16.5 million years old trees are located. https://maps.app.goo.gl/n2PatGtioUeNF... કચ્છ ના ખદીર બેટ એટલે કે ધોળાવીરા ની બાજુ માં આવેલ આ ફોસિલ પાર્ક એક આગવી ઓળખ ધરાવે છે. અહી કરોડો વર્ષ પહેલાં ના વૃક્ષો ના અવશેષો જોવા મળે છે. અહી કચ્છ ની અતિવિસિષ્ટ એવી ભૌગોલિક વિસ્તાર નો પણ નજારો જોવા મળે છે. ફોસીલ પાર્ક થી ૧૦ કિમી જેટલા અંતરે આપણને રણ જોવા મળે છે તો અહી દરિયા કિનારો જોવા મળે છે. આવું ભાગ્યે જ કોઈ જગ્યાએ આપણને જોવા મળે. અહી કરોડો વર્ષો પહેલા ના વૃક્ષો ને કોઈ નુકશાન ના પહોચાડે તે કારણે જાળી વડે રક્ષણ આપવામાં આવેલ છે. અહી નજીક માં જ સનસેટ પોઇન્ટ પણ આવેલ છે. અહી આવ્યા પછી આપણને એવું લાગે છે જાણે કોઈ બીજા પ્રદેશ માં આવી ગયા હોઈએ. કારણ કે અહી નું વાતાવરણ ખૂબ જ સુંદર અને પહાળી હોવાને કારણે અને પાણી ના ઘસારા થી સુંદર કુદરતી કોતરણી જોવા મળે છે. અહી આવ્યા પછી એવું કહી શકાય કે કુદરત ને જાણવી સમજવી આ કાળા માથારો માનવી કુદરત સામે લાચાર છે. કારણ કે લાકડું પડ્યા પડ્યા ઉધઈ વડે ખવાઈ જાય જ્યારે અહી આટલા કરોડો વર્ષો પછી આ વૃક્ષ ના અવશેષો પત્થર રૂપે જોવા મળે છે.
