This Fan Wouldn't Spin... I Saved It Just in Time

I noticed that when I turned it on, the motor would just buzz and start getting hot. This fan suddenly stopped spinning, so I took it apart to find out what was really causing the problem. The shaft and bearing had seized due to dried-out lubrication, preventing the fan blade from turning and putting unnecessary stress on the motor. I also added small foam pieces around the bearings to help retain and distribute the lubricant more evenly.
