It is the Greg Wells VoiceCentric plugin by Waves created with the Grammy nominated producer, Greg Wells. This vocal plugin helps me get just the right amount of chorus, reverb, and delay on my vocal track. I find that this plugin gets the vocal effects job done faster than individual effects. However, I do also show you a few other effects plugins that I also use in my complete vocal chain. This includes Auto Tune, Compressor, EQ, and DeEsser. I show you how I use all these plugins on my track and then let you listen to the difference adding the VoiceCentric plugin makes to the mix. I demo the dry vocal and the wet (VoiceCentric added) vocal so you can hear the difference. Before I created this video I contacted the famous producer Greg Wells and asked him a few questions about the plugin and how he processes vocals. He talks about famous artists that he has used VoiceCentric plugin with including Katy Perry, Keith Urban, Pink, Grace Vanderwaal, as well as for vocals on the soundtrack of the movie The Showman. Greg also offered some tips for other plugins he uses. He recommended a microphone system that works well with VoiceCentric and also offered some basic tips on how to improve the sound of your vocals and mix.
