Welcome to Dance with your Dharma, where dance becomes a path to embodiment, remembrance and inner sovereignty. I am Nikita Thakrar, a TEDx speaker, Kathak teacher and Dharma guide. For over two decades, I have explored movement as more than performance. Dance can help us cultivate presence, awaken expression and reconnect with the wisdom held within the body. During my 20 years of running DNC, I believed I was teaching and performing choreography. Looking back, I can see that dance was also helping people develop confidence, presence, connection and trust in their journeys. This became the foundation of my work today. Through Dance with your Dharma, I now explore movement as a doorway into embodiment, ancient wisdom, creativity and self-remembrance.
