Why we let others think for us

How many of what you believe came from you? How many of your choices are your own? Not your parent's, not your pastor's, yours... I mean yours. And so here is why we tend to let others think for us. Many of the beliefs that we have today, probably we chose for ourselves, but more often than not, we inherit them. And so these things are not natural. I myself am also a victim of that. And so here are some reasons why we tend to allow people to treat our decisions for us. Number one is authority bias. This is the tendency to give greater perceived value to the opinions that come from a senior authority figure. I remember just the same reason why your pastor says that something is in the Bible and then you believe it, even though we don't see it in the Bible, or the same reason why...
