Walk At Fort Ebey State Park, Whidbey Island, Washington

4 mi hike along the bluff trail and woods Views of Puget Sound and the Olympic Peninsula, and the Battery area at the former WWII Fort Ebey. On a cold and rainy fall Saturday we put on our rain gear and headed out for a walk. The bluff trail at this park offers periodic views of Puget Sound. Even though it was rainy and overcast we could see the shipping Chanel and a couple cargo ships. It’s a great spot to see birds and other wildlife. We walked down to the beach, but with a high tide the beach wasn’t suitable for walking. We looked around the WWII battery area, then walked back through various trails in the woods. Will be very nice place to walk on a dry day, and it’s not not too bad on a rainy day.
