Mili Gorge Island of Crete, Greece

What To Expect series takes you to the island of Crete. North of the town of Rethymno you will find Mili Gorge, a picturesque trail that will make you feel as though you have stepped into a fairytale. The path follows along most of the gorge and a beautiful brook that winds its way through the ruins of structures and watermills. The rocky path is best suited for a comfortable hiking boot or trail running shoe (my preference). You can take along water or enjoy one of the two cantinas the trail has to offer.
