Cycling Ontario’s Historic K&P Trail For Fall Colours🍂🍁🌻

October 9th, 2026 We take advantage of the beautiful weather to take a bike ride up the K&P Trail from the Godfrey area to Tichborne and back. The K&P Trail (north-south) is one of the two main rail trails in the area - the other being the east-west oriented Cataraqui Trail. They cross in the Harrowsmith area. Both trails attract people pursuing many activities including walking, running, cycling, ATV riding, horseback riding, skiing and so on. The K&P Trail runs from Kingston to Snow Road Station at the current time. The fall colours are still very nice so we thought we should get out to see how they are showing along the K&P Trail. This section of the trail cuts through southern Canadian Shield topography with gently rolling granite bedrock adorned with mixed forests, lakes and frequent marshes along route. #K&PTrail #OntarioCycling #gravelbikes
