Deep, low brown noise that masks the room and helps a newborn settle — 10 hours, black screen, no ads. Its job is masking: it makes the room uniform and unremarkable, so a door closing or a car outside stops being an event. There is no melody here, and nothing to listen to. That is the point. 🔴 HOW LOUD TO PLAY IT — the part most channels leave out A 2014 study in Pediatrics (Papsin et al.) tested 14 infant sleep machines. At maximum volume, ALL 14 exceeded 50 dBA, and three exceeded 85 dBA — the level that damages adult hearing. Please keep to the ceiling and the distance: • Keep it at or below 50 dB — well under half of most machines' maximum • Place it at least 200 cm / about 6.5–7 ft from the crib • Never put it inside the crib, and never mount it to the crib rail ABOUT RHYTHM RHYMES LAB Every video here is built around a rite of passage — not a lesson, not a distraction. Rhythm Rhymes Lab makes anti-overstimulation sound for children: slow, unchanging, no sudden cuts, nothing that startles a drowsy baby. Engineered for kids, trusted by parents. — FOR THE GROWN-UPS Your child's nervous system is calibrated to yours. You set the field. If you're dysregulated, they will be. No song can out-regulate a parent in survival mode. Regulate yourself first — that is the real bedtime routine.
