The 1996 DeVilbiss Superfinish 200 was the inaugural NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series event held at Nazareth Speedway on June 30, 1996. Taking place during a rare off-weekend for the Winston Cup Series, the race attracted an exceptionally star-studded field that featured prominent Cup drivers making guest appearances, including Rusty Wallace in his lone career truck series start. Severe rainstorms plagued the event from the beginning, causing long delays and forcing teams to battle both each other and mother nature before persistent downpours ultimately cut the scheduled 200-lap race short. For decades, the broadcast was famously considered a piece of "lost media" within the racing community due to the TV networks going off the air during the weather delays, leaving almost no public footage of the event until tapes were finally uncovered and archived.
