Hi! Hi hihihihi! Have you heard? The new Oak Alcove Apartments development here in Newcrest has its first residents. Oh, they're an adorable young couple, I hear. The young man, Hart, I believe he's called, works hard at SimCorp in the business career. The Baker family next door told me he used to be a mechanic at his fathers shop not too long ago, but ambition got the best of him after meeting Moxie Stone. Now he's climbing the corporate ladder to buy her everything her heart desires. I KNOW! What a man. And what a lucky, lucky girl! So Mrs. Baker told me she and Moxie had a big chat right after they moved in. She comes from a very wealthy family that was based in Simsisippi. But sadly they're now six feet under. The poor dear. Very fortunate that she met this Stone fella. Oh no they're not married. You're perfectly right to assume from the different last names. It is rather scandalous, isn't it? But again, Mrs. Baker did some polite digging and found out they're eloping as soon as they're settled into the new place. It IS NOT exactly like she has parents to disappoint. But can you imagine walking around here, shacking up with a man, unwed, dressed so scantily and with rumors swirling that she is a bit of a gold digger? Why I would simply die of embarrassment. Social Standing is very important in this community. But she does seem very, very sweet. SO, I won't judge or talk badly of her. This conversation stays between us, of course.
