The Courtyard of Ziran (HIPHOP PHONK TRAP DNB R&B VAPORWAVE SAMPLED)

"Ziran (自然) translates to "self-so" or "naturalness." It’s the ultimate Daoist concept of being exactly who you are, without artificial interference. The ultimate rejection of the masks. The Confucians of the Warring States period were trying to train people to be "useful" to the state—to be good officials, soldiers, and citizens who fit into a rigid social hierarchy. Zhuangzi saw that being "useful" in a corrupt, warmongering society meant getting your head chopped off or being forced to betray your morals. Saying "I don't know if I'm a man or a butterfly" was an act of intellectual desertion. In that context, Zhuangzi's philosophy wasn't just a meditation on reality. It was a radical survival strategy." —DeepSeek
