Hike to Pohoiki ~ first visit since the lava cut off driving access

Aloha everyone, I finally made it to Pohoiki! After a grueling hike over the lava in the heat of the day I got to surf the best break on the island. I hope you enjoy the aerial footage of the beach and new flows. If you've ever visited or seen pictures from before you know a lot has changed. Three waves (bowls, shacks, and dead trees) have been wiped out. There is no longer a distinction between elevators, 1st and 2nd bay waves.
