Cozy 90s Thanksgiving Weekend Heavy Thunderstorm | Rain on Windows & Fireplace ASMR | 12 Hours

Thanksgiving dinner is over, the dishes can wait, and the house has finally gone quiet. It's 1996, and you're tucked into a familiar couch under a plaid blanket while a heavy thunderstorm settles over the neighborhood. A slice of pumpkin pie and a warm mug sit on the coffee table beside VHS tapes, an old TV listings magazine, and a half-finished board game. The CRT television is off. Autumn decorations rest on the mantel, leftovers wait on the dining table, and a small wood fire crackles nearby. Outside, thick raindrops run down the windows as wind moves the autumn branches. Close natural thunder crashes open into long rolling tails, with quieter rumbles between them. Inside, the lights stay dim and the room feels warm and sheltered. Nearly 12 hours of dark, nostalgic ambience for winding down, sleep, reading, or focus. Real recorded rain against glass, natural thunder, quiet fire crackles, and subdued wind. No music or talking. This edition includes loud thunder crashes and restrained lightning beyond the windows. Welcome to Somewhere to Slumber — a different place to rest your mind. We take requests for future videos! Leave your next setting or soundscape idea in the comments. This is an original imagined setting created with AI-assisted imagery and motion, then composited and edited. The soundtrack is a custom mix of real rain, thunder, fireplace, and wind recordings. This is not footage of an actual home or a continuous twelve-hour storm recording. #ThanksgivingAmbience #Thunderstorm #90snostalgia
