Welcome to the 𝗧𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗳𝘁𝗵 𝗟𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 of the Al-Usool ath-Thalathah Course. Alhamdulillah! This lecture discusses the importance of 𝗧𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗸𝗸𝘂𝗹 (reliance upon Allah) and its status as an 𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽. In light of the Qur’an and Sunnah, it explains that a true believer relies upon 𝗔𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗵 in every situation and believes that all benefit and harm are ultimately under His control. 📖 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗧𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗟𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲: ✅ The meaning of 𝗧𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗸𝗸𝘂𝗹 and the importance of relying upon Allah. ✅ Explanation of the Qur’anic verses: ﴿وَعَلَى اللَّهِ فَتَوَكَّلُوا إِن كُنْتُم مُؤْمِنِينَ﴾ and ﴿وَمَن يَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى اللَّهِ فَهُوَ حَسْبُهُ﴾. ✅ Prophet 𝗜𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗵𝗶𝗺’s (peace be upon him) reliance upon Allah and his deliverance from the fire. ✅ The reliance of the believers during the 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗹-𝗔𝗵𝘇𝗮𝗯 and their statement: ﴿حَسْبُنَا اللَّهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ﴾. ✅ The 𝘀𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗱 people who will enter Paradise without reckoning or punishment and their described characteristics. ✅ The relationship between 𝘀𝗲𝗲𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 and placing one’s trust in Allah. ✅ The prohibition of 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, including considering a black cat crossing one’s path, certain clothes, or particular people as bad omens. ✅ The Islamic ruling on 𝗥𝘂𝗾𝘆𝗮𝗵 (Islamic healing through recitation) and belief that 𝗔𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗵 𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴. ✅ Correcting the belief that a particular person’s Ruqyah is necessarily the means of healing. ✅ The reliance of 𝗛𝗮𝗷𝗮𝗿 (may Allah have mercy upon her) upon Allah when she was left in Makkah with her son, Ismail (peace be upon him). ✅ The emergence of 𝗭𝗮𝗺𝘇𝗮𝗺 𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 and the great blessings of reliance upon Allah. ✅ The story of the 𝗣𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝘃𝗲 and Allah’s mercy and support. ✅ The importance of 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱, adopting lawful means, and seeking treatment while relying upon Allah. ✅ The Hadith about birds receiving their provision and the importance of trusting 𝗔𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗵, the Provider. 🎯 This lecture emphasizes that 𝗧𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗸𝗸𝘂𝗹 is a great act of worship. A believer adopts the appropriate means while placing their 𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁 and reliance upon 𝗔𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗵 𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗲. ✨ May Allah grant us the ability to practise 𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗧𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗸𝗸𝘂𝗹 and rely upon Him in every situation. Ameen, O Lord of all worlds.
