It Is True!

It Is True [verse 1] Seems like every day I hear some accusation Saying what we believe is so strange But if you boil it all down to one foundation Then there’s just one thing to make plain. [Chorus] If the Book of Mormon is true Then Joseph was a prophet If one is true then so is the other And if Joseph was a prophet Then this church is true That’s what the Spirit will tell you. [Verse 2] In the sea of opinions and religious confusion It can so easy shut it all out So many claims and so much contention But there’s one thing to figure out. [Chorus] If the Book of Mormon is true Then Joseph was a prophet If one is true then so is the other And if Joseph was a prophet Then this church is true That’s what the Spirit will tell you. [Bridge ] If that book is false the whole thing crumbles, and there’s no further to inquire. But when the Spirit tells you it is all true Then you’ll just want to stand up and shout. [Final Chorus] If the Book of Mormon is true Then Joseph was a prophet If one is true then so is the other And if Joseph was a prophet Then this church is true That’s what the Spirit will tell you. The Book of Mormon is true (Just read it) It’s really true (Pray about it) It’s true!
