Day 39 of my 1000-day journey from zero to €1,000,000 - Part 2. After being fired from my warehouse job in Germany, the real question became simple: What do I do next? Today I went to a public hospital because of the pain in my back and knee. The experience was interesting - the language barrier made everything more difficult, and I was also told that I wasn’t properly covered in the German system, even though I had been working legally in Germany. I paid around €68 for the visit and received a sick note for the day. But most of this video is really about what happens after a setback. I could spend my time being angry about losing the job, but that doesn’t move me forward. Instead, I’m thinking about the next steps. I still want to contact senior management and explain what I saw inside the company — not because I want my job back, but because I believe there are simple ways to improve employee retention, onboarding and the way new people are treated. At the same time, I need to find another job quickly. I’m learning that job hunting is also a numbers game. If two applications get rejected, it hurts. If you send 20, rejection becomes part of the process. I would rather keep applying, keep moving and find the one opportunity that works. I also still have my bigger goal. My business financing application in Lithuania is approaching, and once it is submitted, the process may take around 6–8 weeks. I still need income, stability and capital while I prepare everything for the next stage. So even after losing the job, the plan hasn’t disappeared. I need to: find another source of income, continue building my financial history, prepare the business financing application, take care of my health, and keep moving forward. This month has been difficult. I miss my son. Sometimes the loneliness hits harder than I show on camera. But sitting still won’t change anything. Action will. Coburg is a beautiful place, and apart from the work situation, this experience in Germany has taught me a lot. One chapter ended. Now I need to find the next one. Day 39/1000. 961 days to go. From zero to €1,000,000.
