Recently started looking into the Wondermega's MIDI playback functionality, since I had a really funny idea for something. Started at disassembling the Wonder MIDI ROM dumped by andlabs. Pretty much immediately I had found an unused generic Sega "LOGO" program at 0xD74, which can be accessed by changing the RTS above that into a NOP instruction. Nothing too special, but interesting nonetheless. This also serves as the maximal capture of this software that can be done on a stock Wondermega with no RGB mods, since I saw there was only one other upload through composite, and there's no good way to emulate this with sound yet. Captured through an ODV-II with an OSSC, with MIDI just connected to my PC and fluidsynth playing it back, since I can't hook up my Yamaha MU-50 yet. Dunno what soundfont I had loaded, I assume it's just default. This is also my shameless flex that I have a Wondermega RG-M1 lol, and boy what a ride getting one was... About a year ago, I bought a Wondermega RG-M1 for the purpose of researching the hardware, MIDI output and Wonder MIDI, since there's not a lot of available documentation online. Listed as working, but it came with a damaged power supply that pretty much immediately fried the system. I sent it for repairs a good while ago, and I finally got it back a week ago, completely repaired and working thanks to the hard work of Island IT Services! And I really mean that, A lot of time and effort was put into repairing this thing and I'm not certain anyone else would have got it working. Highly recommend them if you need repairs done on any "exotic" hardware like this. Please check them out!: http://www.islandgameshop.com/   / islanditvt
