Wipeout Greece S02 E07

Wipeout Greece is the Greek version of Endermol's Wipeout, hosted by Dimitris Menounos, Christoforos Zaralikos, and Eleni Karpontini. It originally aired on ANT1 for two series, from 2010 - 2011. Each episode saw 24 contestants take on the Wipeout course in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Contestants are elimiated in rounds, until 1 victor remains in the Wipeout Zone. Eleni Karpontini (who was the interviewer) was only seen in Season 1, being replaced by Dimitris Menounos as the interviewer This version of Wipeout was a partnership between both Greece and Turkey, supposedly to save on costs. Turkish contestant would sometimes be shown on the Greek version In the episodes, 12 Greeks, and 12 Turks competed for €40 000 The obstacles are near identical copies of their American counterparts, only smaller and less brutal. In season 2, the mud pit where the first obstacle goes over (not to be confused with sucker punch wall) was replaced with brown slightly dirty water. Most Greek contestants would get their run shown on TV. Turkish competitors would also sometimes be shown.
