"CLASSIC G-LAND" QUIKSILVER PRO WSL ASP G LAND JAVA INDONESIA 1996 KELLY SLATER AND THE TOP 44 TR

The WSL Quiksilver/Roxy Pro G-Land 2022 | World Surf League event will be the first time since 1997 that the world's best have competed at perhaps the best lefthand reef on Earth, G Land. On this episode we go back to1996, the WSL was still the ASP and the Dream Tour had just began with the G Land Quiksilver Pro as the flagship event. I filmed most of the land footage in this and some of the water clips, along with Don King, Alby Falzon and Jeff Hornbaker. The only people at G land for the 1996 event were the surfers and crew and a list of legends that Quiksilver invited including Jim Banks, Tom Carroll and Wayne Lynch.
