The fishing was so good!! We headed out with no spots and managed to find some great fish!

We have been so busy lately it has been hard really to get away fishing but we just had to sneak away for a few days and get our fix. The weather was predicted to be really good after cyclone Seroja pasted however it wasn't quite as nice as we had hoped. We had a feeling the fish were going to be on the chew after the storm and we weren't disappointed with how good the bite was. The fish really were on the chew and after managed to find a couple lumps it wasn't long till we hooked into some great fish. Over the three days we fished the standout lure that caught fish was the Vexed Occy Head Skirt with an assist and rigged on a 200g Vexed head, this thing caught everything! We also gave the new Daiwa Spartan SJ rod a good workout and you can see some of the fish that we landed on it! Another killer fishing trip done and dusted!
