Southern 4501: The Return to Green & Gold

In 2026, the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum announced that the crown jewel of their collection, Southern Railway 4501, would return to it's eye catching Southern green and gold paint scheme it wore during in the 1960's through to the 1990's. With the help of ScaleTrains, who funded the new paint job, TVRM successfully recreated every detail of the beautiful green coat. Join us as we follow the 4501 on one of many trips it took in the summer of 2026 from Chattanooga, Tennessee to Summerville, Georgia.
