A trip from Koh Chang, Thailand, to Siem Reap, Cambodia — including a $9 hotel room, local food, markets, and the temples of Angkor. In this archive travel vlog, that was filmed in 2017, I book the journey on Koh Chang, take the ferry to the mainland, and cross the border into Cambodia. In Siem Reap, I explore the night market and Pub Street, listen to live music, and stay at Day Day Inn, where the room cost $9 per night. The journey continues with Cambodian food, a tuk-tuk ride through Siem Reap, a stop at the lotus fields, and visits to Angkor Wat, Ta Prohm, Bayon, and Angkor Thom. Along the way, there are street scenes, photo shoots, temple architecture, and encounters with the monkeys near the temples. Prices and travel details shown in this archive video reflect the time of filming. 00:00 Booking the Trip on Koh Chang 01:58 Morning Departure from Koh Chang 02:52 Ferry Crossing to the Mainland 06:00 Road Trip and Rest Stop in Thailand 07:52 Crossing the Thailand–Cambodia Border 09:48 Siem Reap Night Market and Pub Street 11:38 Street Photo Shoot in Siem Reap 13:09 Tuk-Tuk Ride to the Hotel 14:36 Day Day Inn — Hotel and Room Tour 16:49 Live Music on Pub Street 20:16 Local Food near Angkor 22:39 Exploring Angkor Wat 26:18 Tuk-Tuk Ride through Siem Reap 29:29 Lotus Fields near Siem Reap 31:14 Refuelling the Tuk-Tuk 31:30 Buying Angkor Tickets 32:10 Inside the Angkor Temple Complex 34:13 Ta Prohm Temple 36:13 Bayon and Angkor Thom 39:07 Monkeys near the Temples 41:20 Dinner in Siem Reap 42:26 Returning to Thailand 42:44 Closing Scenes #Cambodia #SiemReap #AngkorWat
